UzSIAC is a supporter of establishing and developing cooperation with leading educational institutions in Central Asia and abroad. We understand the importance of international collaboration and what we need to do to give students the best global experiences. The Institute has signed cooperation agreements and memoranda with approximately 60 foreign higher education institutions.
Active cooperation has been established with these organizations in various areas, in particular lectures by foreign specialists, practical classes and round tables, participation in research projects and discussions of dissertations, cooperation on grant programs, exchange of teaching staff, young researchers, advanced training courses, master classes and conferences, and online lectures organized for students of the institute.

– On February 24, the delegation of UzSIAC signed a memorandum of cooperation between the Faculty of Library Science and Information Science of Baku State University and the Faculty of Library and Information Activities of the State Institute of Arts and Culture of Uzbekistan. On February 24, a delegation from the State Institute of Art and Culture of Uzbekistan visited the National Conservatory of Azerbaijan. A number of beneficial agreements on bilateral cooperation have been signed with the Azerbaijan Conservatory. A meeting was held between the rector of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, Jeyran Mahmudova, and the leadership of UzSIAC, and a memorandum was signed with the university.
– On February 28, 2023, teachers and students of the Department of “Sound Engineering and Cinematography” of the UzSIAC visited the St. Petersburg Institute of Film and Television with the aim of further developing cooperation. Nikolai Volkov, head of the cinematography department of the St. Petersburg Institute of Film and Television, conducted an internship for students in the film pavilion.
– On March 3, an online meeting was held with the rector of the State Institute of Art and Culture of Uzbekistan E. Shermanov, and the rector of the Altai State Institute of Culture and Art O.P. Kutkina. Issues of cooperation between two higher educational institutions were discussed at the meeting.
– On March 13, the Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan visited UzSIAC.
– On March 15, a Council was created between universities of Turksoy member countries. The rector of UzSIAC took part in the conference.
– On April 5, Lyubov Aleksandrovna Nikolaeva, head of the international relations department of the Chelyabinsk State Institute of Culture of Russia, visited UzSIAC.
– On April 26, a bilateral cooperation agreement was signed between UzSIAC and the Russian Theater in Paris.
– On May 4, the leadership of the UzSIAC met with representatives of the Ardahan University of Turkey. The vice-rector for academic affairs of the institute, Abdulaziz Nurullayev, held negotiations with the rector of the related university, Professor Dr. Mehmed Biber, as well as vice-rector Mustafa Yildiz, and dean Bulent Kurtisoglular. A memorandum was signed between the universities. In addition, UzSIAC joined the Mavlano program. As part of this program, it is planned to send students to prestigious higher education institutions in Turkey.
– On May 8, a meeting was held between the leadership of UzSIAC and Kocaeli University in Turkey. The parties reached an agreement to strengthen friendly relations and cooperation in the fields of education and science.
– On May 22-26, 2023, the first international student theater festival “Turkish World” was held at the UzSIAC. UzSIAC was visited by leading delegations and student and youth theater groups from the republics of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey.
– On June 5, the Rector of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, Professor Alpaslan Ceylan, visited the State Institute of Art and Culture of Uzbekistan and met with the leadership of our institute. A cooperation agreement was signed between the rector of the Uzbekistan State Institute of Art and Culture Eldor Shermanov and the rector Alpaslan Ceylan.
– On June 4-11, the II Festival of Literature and Books of the Turkic World was held in the Republic of Azerbaijan. Professor of Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture, Doctor of Philological Sciences Marufjon Yuldoshev took part in this international festival.
– On July 10, Italian publisher Sandro Teti visited Uzbekistan State Institute of Art and Culture . During the visit, common cultural ties between the two countries and further strengthening of cooperation in the future were discussed.
– On August 23-28, the head of the International relations department of the institute D. Abdujabborova, the head of the Scientific department M. Yuldashev, and the head of the Education quality control department D. Irisboeva visited the University of Bahcesehir in Turkey and took part in a training seminar.
– On September 24-30, a number of students of the institute were sent to the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography to participate in an international forum under the leadership of the rector of the institute E. Shermanov, and the head of the department I. Melikuziev, T. Rashidov.
– On September 26, Rector E. Shermanov visited the city of Kazan. The Rector of the Kazan State Institute of Culture R. Akhmadieva awarded the rector of UzSIAC the title of honorary professor.
– On November 1-4, professors and teachers of the institute M. Yuldashev, K. Umarov, B. Yakubov, and F. Abduvakhidov took part in an international conference held at the Aegean University of Turkey.
– On November 4, at the invitation of the international Turkish cultural organization “TURKSOY,” Professor of UzSIAC Temur Rashidov attended the event THEATERS OF TURKIC STATES, which was held in Baku from October 30 to November 5, 2023.
– On November 6-13, a delegation consisting of a number of professors, teachers, and doctoral students of The Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture took part in the events of the QS-1000 internship program at the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.
– On November 11-17, the Rector of the Institute E. Shermanov, during his trip to Korea, signed a memorandum with the university, which is one of the 1000 best universities in the world. As part of the cooperation, UzSIAC students will be able to study in Korea for six months. In addition, a memorandum was signed with the Korean Sun Moon University. The rector of the Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture was awarded the title of “Honorary Professor” of the Korean University of Media Arts.
– On December 4-16, master classes were held for two weeks for students of the Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture by director David Treytyakov, a member of the French documentary film school “Les Ateliers Varan” on the initiative of the French Embassy in Uzbekistan.
– On December 7, a delegation led by the director of the Monitoring Center under the Azerbaijan Language Commission, Sevinch Aliyeva, visited the State Institute of Art and Culture of Uzbekistan on the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Uzbekistan.
– On December 23, the First Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth, Sports and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic Imanaliev Kairat Ojaboevich was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of the Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture.
