Brief history of the Department:
According to the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 1771 dated June 4, 2012, Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture was established.
The Department of “Estrada and Mass Performance Arts” of this institute was created on the basis of the “Directing” Department of Tashkent State Institute of Culture named after Abdulla Qodiriy and the “Estrada and Mass Performance Arts” Department of Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts.

Baxtiyor Sayfullayev, Marina Yusupova, Mahmud Rashidov and Shoira Hamidova made a significant contribution to the establishment of the department.

The department operates on the basis of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Law “On Education”, and other regulatory documents aimed at improving the quality of education and upbringing.

The department trains highly qualified bachelors and masters for the field of culture and art (estrada acting and estrada and mass performance directing).
