UzSIAC is ready to welcome students from all over the world every year. This page provides information about UzSIAC’s admission process and exciting student life.

1. Obtaining an Uzbekistan Visa
If you are not a citizen of Uzbekistan, you will need a student visa to enroll in full-time studies at UzDSMI. Before traveling to Uzbekistan, you must apply for this visa in your home country and allow sufficient time for the application to be processed. For additional information, please contact visa and immigration centers.

2. Accommodation
Bachelor-level students are guaranteed a place in the dormitory.

3. Orientation with the Institute
Orientation activities for first-year international students are held at the same time as for local students. During this period, you will have the opportunity to meet with advisors from the institute’s central services, and a number of visa presentations will also take place at the beginning of the academic year. You can also learn more about UzDSMI’s academic and social life on our website.

4. Getting from Tashkent Airport to Our Institute
The institute’s travel guide provides information on how to reach the campus from the airport or the railway station. You will need to notify institute staff of your arrival time in advance.

5. Adapting to Life in Uzbekistan
Coming to study in another country is a major change in your life. Remember that this is a transitional period, and it is natural to need time to adapt to living in a different culture. Take advantage of opportunities to familiarize yourself with the local culture (reading news, watching television, and talking with others). Spending time with someone who shares your cultural background may also help you adjust.

6. Registration Process
Some students from certain countries may need to have their passports scanned or complete registration with the relevant authorities after arrival. For detailed information, please visit our International Relations Department.
