A brief history of the educational theater
Based on the Decree of the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan I. A. Karimov dated June 4, 2012 No. 1771, Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture was established, as well as the Institute’s Training Theater.
The educational theater of Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture was built to meet modern requirements, as well as equipped with the latest technology and can easily be leveled with world theaters.
The activity of the Educational Theater includes student, teacher and graduation events, and open classes in special subjects, independent creative works, including free and paid, in the prescribed manner for the general public, as well as demonstration of audiovisual works both on stage and in touring tours. Thanks to the sense of professional stage spirit, students can become leading experts in the future.
The educational theater is equipped with all necessary modern equipment. Theater stage has a circular motion device. In front of the stage, there is a special place, that is, an orchestra pit for orchestra musicians.
All equipment in the auditorium, and these audio amplifiers, video projector, ramps, as well as all control devices are controlled by computer technology.
All technical equipment in the theater is made by the German company Denkraiser.
The spectator hall of the Educational Theater accommodates 207 seats.
In addition, there are 4 dressing rooms, a dance room, a dressing room, a workshop for scenery, a workshop of props, a special dressing room for the audience, as well as specially designated classrooms for technical staff.
The team of the Educational Theater consists of a creative team, orchestra performers and technical staff.
In 2018, the creative team of the theater was named “The Shining”. The team of the Shining Theater tours throughout the country, presenting a number of performances and concerts.
Based on the five major initiatives of our President, on April 21-28, 2019, the Shining Theater team conducted a series of performances and concerts in the orphanage No. 5 of the Kitab district of the city of Shakhrisabz, Kashkadarya region, under the Board of Education of the Kashkadarya region, and the audience’s work was highly appreciated. In addition, on May 21-25, 2019, performances and concert programs were also held in a number of schools in the Parkentsky district of the Tashkent region.
Currently, the Training Theater is preparing for the International Craft Festival, which will be held September 10-15, 2019 in the city of Kokand, Fergana Valley.
