The Editorial and Publishing Department of Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture publishes a cultural-educational and scientific-information newspaper titled “Ijodiy Parvoz”. The newspaper began its activity on December 19, 2012, and on the same date it was registered with the Tashkent City Press and Information Department under registration number №02-00166. To date, 64 issues of the newspaper “Ijodiy Parvoz” have been published. The newspaper is published in Uzbek, Russian and Karakalpak languages in A-2 format, consisting of 4 pages, and is issued in 1,250 copies during the last week of each month. The newspaper covers the creative, cultural and educational activities, achievements in art, sports and various events, festivals and competitions of the professors and teachers of the institute as well as talented students studying at the higher education institution. In addition, the pages of the newspaper regularly publish students’ creative works in various literary genres such as articles, essays, scientific studies, poems, conversations, interviews, reports, improvisations, essays, news notes, intermedia pieces, humorous stories, aphorisms, etudes and dramatic fragments. The newspaper also widely covers political, socio-economic and spiritual-educational changes taking place in the life of our republic, as well as creative innovations within the institute, scientific conferences, important events, meetings, literary and artistic evenings and other activities. The educational achievements of the most active and experienced teachers as well as exemplary students are also highlighted. In short, the newspaper is considered the mirror of the institute. Therefore, educational, cultural, organizational and enlightenment activities that can serve as an example for everyone working and studying at the institute are regularly published in the institute’s newspaper. Starting from the 2017 academic year, the institute began publishing the scientific-theoretical, practical-methodological and spiritual-educational journal “UzDSMI Xabarlari”. The journal is intended for professors and teachers of higher educational institutions, researchers, art critics, specialists of vocational colleges within the culture and arts system, participants of professional development and retraining programs, senior research fellows, independent researchers, master’s students and students. The journal received the certificate of state registration of mass media issued by the Tashkent City Press and Information Department on December 14, 2015 under number 0862. By the decision of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 29, 2017 №245/6, the journal was included in the list of recommended scientific publications for publishing the main scientific results of dissertations in the field of Art Studies. The journal is planned to be published four times a year in the format 60×84 1/8, up to 100 pages in volume, with a circulation of up to 1000 copies. To date, 7 issues have been published with a circulation of 50 copies. The journal is significant for presenting scientific articles, results of research studies, newly published educational literature, as well as information about new performances, films and exhibitions. The scientific-theoretical, practical-methodological and spiritual-educational journal “UzDSMI Xabarlari” publishes scientific conclusions and analytical materials on topical issues of art and culture, advanced pedagogical technologies applied in the training of specialists in this field, and the results of scientific research carried out in the sphere of culture and arts. |
