The reforms carried out in our country, fundamental transformations, the introduction of innovative technologies into the field of arts and culture, growing attention to this area, loyalty to our national and universal human values, hope and confidence in the future, scientific achievements in various fields, as well as the wide opportunities created by our respected President for the youth, and the promotion of new worldviews in the New Uzbekistan, served as the basis for the establishment of the electronic scientific-methodical, theoretical-practical journal “Culture and Art of Uzbekistan” at the Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture.
This electronic journal, by the decision of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 31, 2025, No. 376/5, was included in the list of publications recommended for publishing the main scientific results of dissertations in art studies.
Aims and objectives of the journal:
– Highlighting scientific directions;
– Broad promotion of the state policy for supporting and developing science;
– Publishing results of research conducted at universities, research institutes, and scientific centers in the country and abroad;
– Expanding students’ horizons and communicating new achievements and best practices to the public;
– Updating the educational process, pedagogical technologies and teaching methods, promoting modern organizational forms;
– Further developing science in higher education, increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the faculty’s research activities, and actively involving talented youth in scientific work;
– Fostering high moral and human values, loyalty to national traditions, and strengthening immunity and analytical thinking against alien ideas and ideologies;
– Highlighting large-scale educational and upbringing activities.
The journal is open for use. Published issues and article texts are available in the “Archive” section of the website in two formats: web page and book.
Founder of the journal: Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture.
Frequency: online edition without print version, published 6 times a year, on the 20th of every second month.
Peer review: articles accepted for publication are checked for plagiarism and sent for blind review (without author information).
Article languages: original, previously unpublished articles in Uzbek, Russian, Karakalpak, and English are accepted.
Indexing: Higher Attestation Commission under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Crossref, DOI, eLIBRARY, E-Line, Google Scholar.
Publication funding: at the author’s expense. Cost — 400,000 UZS.
