About the International Relations Department:
The International Relations Department is a structural unit of the institute that coordinates and manages cooperation with foreign higher education institutions, research centers and professional development institutes. The department studies the latest educational and scientific experience and implements it into the educational process, and organizes activities related to students and faculty members gaining experience in leading educational institutions around the world. Ultimately, this contributes to improving the quality of education.

At the same time, the department was established to develop international cooperation, improve the training of specialists, and effectively use global experience in educational, methodological and scientific research activities. The department is also aimed at promoting international exchange in the field of arts and culture and creating opportunities for institute students to participate in prestigious international competitions and festivals.

It should be noted that institute students actively participate in international competitions held abroad and return with prestigious awards. This contributes to promoting Uzbek art and culture on the global stage. In addition, films created by students are presented at international film festivals and receive high-level awards. This encourages students to work even more actively on their creative development. Professors and researchers of the institute regularly participate with reports in scientific and creative conferences held in various countries of the world. Such exchange of experience allows professors and teachers to introduce new approaches into the educational process.

Goals and objectives of the International Relations Department:

  • Establishing comprehensive cooperation with related foreign universities, centers and organizations, concluding cooperation agreements and contracts, and monitoring their implementation;

  • Inviting professors, teachers, leading specialists from foreign countries, as well as representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Uzbekistan, to participate in the educational process in order to apply international experience;

  • Sending talented students to foreign universities for education and attracting foreign citizens to study at the institute on the basis of bilateral agreements and other arrangements;

  • Organizing scientific conferences, round tables and seminars jointly with international partners;

  • Planning and implementing events with the participation of representatives of foreign universities and organizations together with the departments of the institute;

  • Developing international cooperation in higher education with foreign universities, organizations, centers and research institutions and establishing direct relations with foreign partners based on international agreements with the permission of relevant authorities;

  • Creating opportunities for young scientists, specialists and professors of the institute to improve their qualifications abroad;

  • Selecting candidates among teachers, trainees, doctoral students, postgraduate students and students for participation in foreign projects and grants funded by international foundations, educational organizations and research centers and organizing their participation abroad in accordance with established procedures;

  • Collecting reports from specialists, researchers, trainees and students sent abroad for short-term and long-term trips and submitting them to the relevant departments of the ministry;

  • Coordinating issues related to the study and living conditions of foreign professors teaching at the institute and foreign citizens studying at the institution;

  • Establishing direct cooperation with foreign partners in accordance with relevant provisions of intergovernmental and interdepartmental agreements signed between the Republic of Uzbekistan and other countries.
